The International
Bird Rescue Research Center (IBRRC) since 1971 has responded to and managed
the rehabilitation programs in nearly 200 oil spills and treated thousands
of individual oiled animals.
As part of the organization's
ongoing research, IBRRC has published significant
research papers that study and
address oiled wildlife care. Many of the papers have been presented at numerous wildlife and oil spill conferences.
